Janice Kloess
Owner
Originally from Maryland and a graduate of East Carolina University, where she earned a BSBA in Accounting, Janice began her career in Washington, DC with BDO Seidman. In 1993, she and her husband moved to Atlanta, where her career path led her to David C. Cooper & Associates, an accounting and finance recruiting firm specializing in matching skills and personalities with a client’s hiring needs. Janice’s success at finding the “right fit” and her passion for helping people find their perfect career track is what led her into educational consulting. Her wide view of career possibilities has proven to be a valuable asset to students and parents as they identify college options. Janice is a CPA and received her Certification in College Counseling through UCLA. She is the mom of 4 children; Madeleine, a grad student pursuing a Psy.D; Matthew, a grad student pursuing a Masters in Accounting (MAcc). Kathy Wisneski
Consultant
Upon her high school graduation in Louisville, Kentucky, Kathy’s family moved to Georgia and she has been in the East Cobb area ever since. After earning her B.A. in Education from Furman University and her M.S. in Special Education from Georgia State University, she began her teaching career with Cobb County Schools. Her 16 years of experience in both public and private school classrooms segued effectively to college consulting, where her rapport with students helps keep them on task and focused, and her knowledge of higher education requirements helps her recognize gaps a student may have. Kathy and her husband have two children, Will, a freshman in college, and Kate, a junior in high school. When not at the office, Kathy enjoys running, working in the yard, and traveling along the east coast visiting extended family. Much to Kathy’s chagrin, her rescue dog Navie is not a great fit for the office, but she is a fabulous 3rd child at home! Her favorite quote is: “Why fit in when you were born to stand out?” Dr. Seuss
